Indonesian coal benchmark price surges 0.86% in November

Indonesian coal benchmark price surges 0.86% in November compared to declared price in October, the latest ministerial decree showed. The benchmark price of Indonesian thermal coal has increased $0.81 per ton month on month to $94.80 per ton for November 2017 delivery.

Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Republic Indonesia had declared November 2017 HBA at US$94.80 per ton for 6322 GAR power plant coal by issuing a ministerial decree 3843 K / 32 / MEM / 2017 dated 2^nd November 2017 which was released on 16^th November 2017.

The ministry has increased the monthly Indonesian thermal coal price reference for November delivery by 0.86% a ton compared to last month’s declared HBA. In the meantime, the November 2017 HBA was 11.37% higher the comparable period in 2016.
