NMDC reports 2.98 million tonne production of iron ore up to April 2017

NMDC has reported 2.98 million tonnes of iron ore production and logged sales volume of 3.56 million tonnes up to the month of April 2017. The company’s Chhattisgarh mines produced 1.98 million tonnes of iron ore and registered sales volume of 2.17 million tonnes, while Karnataka mines produced 1 million tonnes of iron ore and sold 1.39 million tonnes of iron ore up to April 2017.

NMDC is a state-controlled mineral producer of the Government of India. It is fully owned by the Government of India and is under administrative control of the Ministry of Steel.
