Argentina’s cement dispatches up 17% in January

Argentine cement producers dispatched 1,030,280t of cement, including exports, in January, up 3.2 per cent MoM and 17.3 per cent YoY, according to AFCP, the country’s cement association.

The domestic market (including imports) expanded by 3.9 per cent MoM and 19.4 per cent YoY as manufacturers delivered 1,043,651t.  Private consultants expect the market to continue its growth path in the next few years at an annual rate of seven per cent.
