Indonesian coal price reference rises to hit thirteen month high

Indonesian Coal Price Reference (HBA) rose 5.39 percent in February 2018, the latest ministerial decree showed.

The benchmark price of Indonesian thermal coal has increased $5.15 per ton month on month to $100.69 per ton for February 2018 delivery. The Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Republic Indonesia had declared January HBA at $100.69 per ton for 6322 GAR power plant coal by issuing a ministerial decree 407 K / 32 / MEM / 2018 dated 5 February 2018.

The Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Republic Indonesia has increased the monthly Indonesian thermal coal price reference for February 2018 delivery meantime, the February 2018 HBA was 20.85% higher the comparable period in 2017.
